2. Data Collection: Google Account

When you sign in, we get some basic information from your Google account:

• Your profile picture

• Show your profile in the extension

3. Data Collection: YouTube Subscriptions

We collect information about the channels you're subscribed to:

• Channel names
• Channel thumbnails

We use this to:

• Show you your subscriptions in an organized way
• Let you manage your subscriptions
• Help you find specific channels

We use your subscription data solely to enable tagging and organization within the extension. We do not share this information with external third parties.

4. Data Collection: Custom Organization

We save the information you create:

• Tags you make to organize channels
• How you group your channels
• Your personal settings

• Saved on your computer

• Used to make the extension work for you

5. Usage Analytics

In the Cloud

• We automatically save some information to the cloud:
  • Your custom tags and organization
• This helps you:
  • Access your organization from different devices

7. Data Security

• We use strong security measures to protect your information
• We use Google's secure login system
• All information is sent securely over the internet
• We never share your information with other companies

8. Data Retention and Deletion

• The data on your computer will be deleted immediately
  • When you sign out your Google account from the extensions, or
  • When you delete the extension
• The data on the cloud will be kept until you delete them from the extension
  • You can delete all your data any time using the extension's tag management UI
  • After deletion, we retain no copies of your data anywhere
• Analytics data is handled separately:
  • Usage analytics are stored by Google Analytics and follow their data retention policies
  • Analytics data is automatically deleted after 26 months as per Google Analytics standard
  • You can opt out of analytics tracking through your browser's privacy settings

Users can revoke TagTube’s access to their data at any time via the Google security settings page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.

We make sure our extension follows:
